NORMAN — The Oklahoma Sooners are in the midst of a massive roster transformation, continuing their hot streak in the transfer portal with two more commitments on Wednesday.

Defensive Edge and Perimeter Speed

The latest additions are Kenny Ozowalu, a promising edge rusher transfer from UTSA, and Parker Livingstone, a wide receiver looking for a fresh start. Ozowalu adds immediate pass-rushing depth to a unit that is looking to get younger and faster.

These commitments follow a flurry of activity on Tuesday (Jan 6), where the Sooners secured pledges from six players, including Florida TE Hayden Hansen and Colorado State TE Rocky Beers, effectively rebuilding the tight end room in a single day.

While the roster fills up, the coaching staff is also changing. The program has officially parted ways with Tight Ends Coach Joe Jon Finley.

Rumors are now swirling that former Dallas Cowboys legend Jason Witten is a top target for the vacancy. If hired, Witten would bring instant credibility and star power to the recruiting trail, signaling Brent Venables’ intent to make a splash hire for the position.
