Heisman Trophy Finalists and Top 10 Revealed (2025)

The Heisman Trust has officially announced the finalists for the 91st Annual Heisman Memorial Trophy, setting the stage for Saturday’s ceremony in New York City.

The Finalists (Alphabetical Order)

These four players will be present at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Saturday, Dec. 13 (7 p.m. ET, ABC):

1. Jeremiyah Love - RB, Notre Dame
2. Fernando Mendoza - QB, Indiana (Considered the heavy favorite)
3. Diego Pavia - QB, Vanderbilt
4. Julian Sayin - QB, Ohio State

The Top 10 Finishers

While only four are heading to New York, the Trust also released the finishers for spots 5-10, showcasing an incredible year of talent across college football:

• 5th: Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech
• 6th: Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State
• 7th: Gunner Stockton, QB, Georgia
• 8th: Trinidad Chambliss, QB, Mississippi
• 9th: Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
• 10th: Haynes King, QB, Georgia Tech

Award Season Updates

• Maxwell Award (Player of the Year): Winner to be announced tonight (Friday, Dec 12) on ESPN. Finalists include Love, Mendoza, and Sayin.
• Doak Walker Award (Best RB): Awarded to Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame) on Dec 9.
